Chris Gayle of West Indies achieved a rare feat of becoming the first player to hit 600 sixes and 600 fours in Twenty20 cricket.
Playing for Melbourne Renegades, Gayle hit two humongous in a Big Bash League Twenty20 match against Brisbane Heat to achieve the landmark.
New Zealand’s Brendon McCullum is the third in the list with 605 fours.
Gayle is way ahead in terms of six hitting record with the next best being that of fellow West Indian all-rounder Kieron Pollard, who has hit 388 sixes.
McCullum is on the third spot with 290 hits over the fence.

1-Gayle holds the record for the fastest hundred in T20s.
2-Gayle remained unbeaten on 175 during that innings, which also happens to be the highest individual score in the shortest format of the game. In his 66-ball knock, he smashed 13 fours and 17 sixes.
3-Gayle is also the highest run-getter in T20s with 8363 runs at 44.24. Hodge is behind him with 6717 runs.
4-The Jamaican also holds the record for most centuries – 16 – and most half-centuries (53).
